Work that is not personally satisfying reflects a basic conflict you have with yourself. You may think the conflict is caused by your career, and that if you change careers, the conflict will go away. There is just one underlying conflict and it is you with you.
Walnut -one ounce of shelled walnuts (about 15 halves) provides about 2.5 grams of ALA and about 11 grams of LA and only about 190 Calories total. This makes English walnuts the single most convenient source of both of the EFAs. The two Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid. Humans need about ten grams of linolenic acid (LA) per day and about two grams of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) per day. Flaxseed oil -- one teaspoon (4.5 grams) has about 2 grams of ALA and about 40 Calories total. Walnuts in particular, are high in alpha-linolenic acid, an essential (n-3 or omega) fatty acid that is protective to the heart and circulation. This fat has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and fatal arrhythmias in various studies.
Yoga. The most important work of the yoga asanas or postures is in strengthening and purifying the nervous system, particularly the spinal cord and nerve ganglia, as these correspond to the routes of prana in the subtle body. Active signals from the sympathetic nerves stimulate our reponses to need or emergency, particularly the "fight" or "flight" response to stress, while inhibiting the functions controlled by the parasympathetic system, such as the flow of saliva and gastric juices, and the normalization of pulse and breathing. The asanas also massage and stimulate all the enocrine glands.
Zinc is an essential mineral that is found in almost every cell. It stimulates the activity of approximately 100 enzymes, which are substances that promote biochemical reactions in your body . Zinc supports a healthy immune system , is needed for wound healing, helps maintain your sense of taste and smell, and is needed for DNA synthesis. Zinc also supports normal growth and development during pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence. Oysters contain more zinc per serving than any other food, but red meat and poultry provide the majority of zinc in the diet. Other good food sources include beans, nuts, certain seafood, whole grains, fortified breakfast cereals, and dairy products.
